Spring Break in Steamboat Springs

I went to Steamboat Springs, Colorado for spring break and it left a great first impression on me. From the thrilling ski resort, great food, interesting people, and wondrous downtown area it all made it a very special trip!

If you are ever looking for a great ski town I would highly recommend Steamboat. There are tons of slopes and plenty for beginners and experts! I went snowboarding for the first time and I got lessons and the instructors at steamboat were great and helpful! It had this wonderful atmosphere that pushes you to want to be a better snowboarder or skier! I snowboarded the whole time and had the best time ever. I highly recommend snowboarding to the people who are looking for a challenge! Steamboat also has a ton of rental shops so it's very stress free when it comes to renting and the people are very helpful! I rented my gear from Powder Pursuits. They have an awesome selection of skis, snowboards, boots, or helmets for your steamboat trip!

If you are wanting to take the day off from the slopes, that is no problem!  You can head downtown and check out the local food and shops! Tons of interesting shops will keep you entertained and cure that shopping frenzy because, let's be real,  who can't resist a good vacation shopping! If you are in to burgers, you will fall in love with the Burgers at Steamboat. I ate an amazing burger at Backdoor Grill in downtown Steamboat. There are plenty of areas to run and great trails to hit too!
I had a great time at Steamboat this spring break and highly recommend it to you guys to check out for one of your ski trips! Get out there and get going, you won't regret it!
