Snacking is essential. Everyday when I get home from school I have a snack to give me some energy before I go workout or do whatever I need to do before dinner. There are a lot of unhealthy snacks out there, but I'm here to show you some of the healthier snack options that are available. These are super easy and require little to no cooking!
I fell in love with Sprouts Ready To Eat Edamame after the first time I tried it. I seriously finished a whole bag in 3 days! What's awesome about Edamame is that its pretty much ready to eat. All I do is pop a hand full in the microwave for 2 minutes and then snack away. Sprouts already seasoned them with some salt so I don't have to add any. I do try and watch my sodium intake but I make an exception for Edamame, since salt is like its perfect partner! Edamame is also a great source of protein if you are looking for a high protein snack.
2. Sweet Potato Fries
What's better than a whole sweet potato? If you guessed sweet potato fries, you are correct! Sweet potato fries are the perfect snack because you can vary how much you want due to how hungry you are. I buy Alexia Sweet Potato Fries because I can pop them into my convection oven and they are done in minutes. Sweet potatoes are high in vitamin B6, Vitamin C, and Vitamin D.
3. Chobani Greek Yogurt Drinks
These are awesome whenever you are in a rush. They taste great, fill you up, and are a good source of protein. There are other yogurt drinks out there, but I prefer the Chobani Greek Yogurt Drinks since the provide more protein and a little less sugar than some of the others.
