Oatmeal is a super healthy breakfast option that you can custom make to your liking. I like to add all different kinds of ingrediatns to flavor up my oats. This Recipe I made is inspired by summer berries, since they are very popular during the summer!
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of oats
handfull of Blueberries, Strawberries, and Blackberries
Bring your water to a boil and stir in the oats. Once I added my oats to a bowl, I topped it with cinamon, assorted berries, and chia seeds in rows. Once I had all my toppings in place, I added honey to sweeten it up.
After trying this recipe I was very filled and the berries tasted great with it. My favortie berry was the Blackberry; it just added so much flavor to the oatmeal. I did add more honey to it here and there since the oats did get plain at times. Next time I'm going to smash up a banana and add it the oats to give it more flavor.
