The way you start your day off can be really important to how the rest of your day plays out. Thats why I try and have an awesome and healthy morning, since it helps me stay on track for the rest of the day and not get lazy or unmotivated.
Here are the things that I do at the start of my day that will hopefully help lead you to your best morning ever!
1. Waking up at the same time every day
This helps your body recognize your daily schedule and also prevents you from sleeping in on accident. When I sleep in, I begin to feel so unmotivated/lazy and I do not have a healthy or happy day. So really try and wake up to that alarm without hitting snooze because it will pay off in the end.
2. Eating a Healthy Breakfast
There are a ton of healthy breakfast options out there and it's super important not just to eat breakfast, but a healthy one because it will help energize your body for the day and it also motivates me to eat healthy for the rest of the day.
3. Let Sunlight In
There no super crazy health benefit to this, but it is super helpful to wake your body and brain up, so your not temped to hop back in bed. It's as easy as opening up your window blinds; I do this in the morning and it lets in just the right amount.
4. Stretch and Move
There nothing better than a little morning stretch and it's one of the things I look forward to when waking up. Having something to look forward to is always a great motivater to get you out of bed. I try and run or get some kind of exercise in every morning since it makes me feel so accomplished and happy. It also motivates me to stay healthy and to push myself for the rest of the day since I started out so strong. This past morning I even hiked on a trail with my cousin and it was a fun way to get exercise in and something you could do maybe twice a month to switch things up so you don't get bored!
